The Inspiration Behind Our Villa’s Name: The Legacy of Virgen del Carmen
Our villa is named in honour of Our Lady the Virgen del Carmen, Patron Saint of fishermen and Los Boliches.
This traditional neighbourhood of Fuengirola honours their patron saint on July 16th where the procession of the Virgen del Carmen takes place from the parish church of Santa Fe de Los Boliches, through the streets until she reaches the beach at around 10pm, where she is carried into the sea on the shoulders of sailors all along the Fuengirola coastline. The process is accompanied by an enormous fireworks display.

So good for the price. My husband, brother, sister in law and our 4 kids spent two weeks of summer here. Good base with everything around. Not too hilly like some areas we stayed in before and an easy walk to everything you need on holidays. Our host Terry is so accommodating and friendly and the kids loved the scooters.
I spent a month in the home with my work colleagues working from home in the winter . Wi-fi was good weather perfect and warm for us and home conveniences very good and clean and comfortable.
